Windows Media Center

Windows Media Center is an all-around media solution developed by Microsoft meant to bridge the living room media environment to the PC experience. Through WMC, users are able to watch and record live TV shows and play music and other media saved on the hard drive or other attached storage devices.

Netflix

Netflix on Windows Media Center allowed Netflix subscribers to stream video on demand. Subscribers familiar with the WMC interface could easily browse, search and play videos through their television.

 
 

Internet TV

Windows Media Center Internet TV let you watch and stream videos from a variety of providers via the internet such as CBS, MSNBC, NBC, MSN and more. Likewise, the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) also allowed for browsing of content in a more familar TV interface
